VOCAL COACHING

Jennifer Kincer is coming into her 16th year as  a vocal coach. She teaches proper singing, styling and performing techniques in addition to consulting in the area of artist development. Her students range in age from six to sixty.  In addition to private lessons, Jennifer has vocal coached/music directed a variety of singing groups. Jennifer has vocal coached the professional, Texas based pop group, Savvy. Savvy is currently touring in the U.S as well as internationally. The members of this five person pop group are also the lead characters in their own internationally popular TV show, "The Wannabes," of which Jennifer plays a role in the episode "Earth Day."  For more information, visit: www.thewannabes.tv.

Jennifer's newest singing & dancing pop groups, The Violettes & Violettes Jr, bring her great joy as they encompass some of the best young  singing talent in Michigan as well as being the kindest girls she could ever hope to work with. Her group UltraViolet performed this past December for the Lueintant Governor at the pretigious Reagan Dinner. UltraViolet & The Violettes were featured singing and dancing on Channel 7 -WXYZ as well as on Fox 2 with Jay Towers.  Jennifer has also been a guest vocal coach / music director for the local singing & dancing training groups, TRUE and Fetching Rubies. .

Jennifer's groups are in continuous rehearsals for local and national high profile events. Jennifer's groups as well as her individual vocal students have been featured singing on television, recorded full CDs of original music, performed for local celebrities, sung at coffee houses, professional sporting events, film industry events, in parades, at high profile fundraisers as well as community concerts & events. Jennifer currently teaches vocal lessons from her home studio; Kincer Catallo Private Voice Studio, LLC. She has taught at the Rochester Conservatory of Music as well as other studios throughout the years.  Jennifer’s students are very active in their performing, some of which are touring, recording original music and singing professionally. 

Jennifer holds  a Master of Music degree and two Bachelor of Music degrees in Vocal Performance & Music Education from Oakland University, where she has been on faculty in the Music, Theatre & Dance Department for the past nine years. 

Jennifer teaches from a classical base, working with music ranging from classical and musical theatre to jazz and pop.
